Forms - Scoring
The following 05 min 31 sec clip shows you how to score forms in Timegate Web:
For those who use our Service products, Forms have been enhanced so that answers to questions can be scored (and weighted). This allows forms to be set up whereby:
-
An overall total mark (and percentage) can be calculated based on individual question scores and associated weightings
-
An overall form outcome can be awarded (i.e Pass or Fail) determined by boundaries
-
These results can then be:
-
E-mailed to selected users/contacts (alerts those selected as of to whether the tour has been passed or failed)
-
Viewed in the Service Desk and downloaded within PDFs of the Forms (shows whether a form has been passed or failed and shows associated scores)
-
To enable this:
-
Three question types have had scoring capabilities assigned to them - Rating, Yes No, and List type(see both What are the different Question types? and How do I set up Lists?)
-
When creating a form you can now attribute both scores and weightings to questions and sections. You can also assign a pass/fail grade boundary based on the percentage of marks achieved (see How do I design a form? )
-
When assigning the form to a Service/Tour/Incident users and/or contacts can be selected to whom emails are sent based on the pass/fail result (see How do I set up a tour for a site using my locations?)
Step-by-step instructions for creating a scored form (in addition to the video above) can be found in How do I score forms?
Details of how scores are calculated can be found here How are scores calculated?
