What happens when the event is planned?

Once all of the planning is complete, there are two ways to convert a planned site Event into an operational Event. This can be by:

  • Manual Scheduling (See Task 11 in How do I plan an event?) - This will move the Event into the “Processing” Stage. At this point in time, the system will automatically create all the relevant duties for the roles created within the Event. After the system has finished the processing, the Event will move from “Processing” to “Operational”. All duty records will be accessible for the Event, by clicking on the Event and expanding the team

  • Auto Scheduling - Auto Scheduling Events is a useful feature that gives the user a chance to plan Events far in advance, whilst not moving from the planning stage, to the operational stage and thus making the duties available very early. This makes rostering efficient and fair. A profile can be set up so that Event roles are converted into duties (i.e they are made operational, ready to be booked onto by employees) 25 days in advance. This rule (in the form of a profile) is then allocated to a site. The profile is applied to all Events to be held upon the site, unless it is manually overridden (as per Task 11 in How do I plan an event?)
