What is messaging in Timegate Web?

There are several ways to message within Timegate Web. We look at them in this section of the guide. Escalation Groups (P25) can be assigned to certain system tasks to send out messages to members of the groups. Meanwhile, messaging can also take place between an employees and their supervisor/management using the Employee Portal Set Up (P17). In order for this to happen, audiences and Templates need to be defined. The messaging within the Employee Portal is highly-configurable. Examples of use could be for notifying individuals of events, notification on availability to work, requests/authorisations/rejections for holidays etc. Messaging can take place using email or using SMS. In order to use SMS, you must purchase credits.
