How and where is Rate Generation set up?

Rate GenerationClosed After duties have been Arbitrated, Rate Generation takes place. This is a process which, calculates Bank Holiday pay and bill premiums along with overtime payments. It also sets up the duties so that the correct hours are included in the correct week. Timegate Web is set up so that Rate Generation takes place automatically, however, it is possible to manually trigger rate generation too. Rate Generation jobs can be viewed in the Manage | Rate Gen Jobs screen is set up in several separate places:

  1. At an automatic System Level, within the Admin | System | System Settings | Rate Generation screen

  1. At an automatic Branch Level, Rate Generation is set up using the Desktop Client. Branch level settings can be reviewed when configuring a Branch within the Web Client, however, it is not possible to edit these settings

  2. On a manual basis from within Manage | Rate Gen Jobs screen
