This is the way that Timegate Web has been historically configured by customers. It is available to you, if you have purchased the full Timegate Web solution, Quick Start Cleaning or Quick Start Cleaning Plus. Site Groups can be used to group those sites together that share the same financial contractual terms. The benefit of this is that less data needs to be inputted and maintained. Contractual data is stored once at a Site Group level, rather than multiple times at an individual Site level. All Sites inherit the contractual terms and conditions of the Site Group

• Branches and Customers are at the same high-level within the hierarchy
• A Branch can have a series of Site Groups within it
• A Branch can have many Employees registered to it
• A Site Group can only belong to one Branch
• An Employee can only be registered to one Branch
• A Customer can be associated with many Site Groups
• A Site Group can only belong to one Customer
• A Site Group must belong to a Branch and a Customer
• A Customer can link to many Branches and vice versa, through the Site Group relationship
• A Site Group can comprise many Sites
• A Site can only belong to one Site Group

Branches

• These are best described as being at a business division or a line of business
• These can group together operations (for example, Sites and Employees by geographical areas)

Customers

• Along with Branches, they are at the top level of the hierarchy
• They are used for reporting along with grouping lower-level data

Site Groups

• The Site Group level will group one or more Sites with the same Post Pay, Hour Type Mappings and Bank Holiday Rules
• Whilst geographical and other reasons might be relevant to a Timegate Web customer when setting up the system for the first time, it is crucial that Site Groups share contractual terms
• A Site Group could be considered to be an invoicing address
• When a Site Group is created it must be allocated to a Customer and a Branch

Sites (Site Cards)

• Sites are each assigned to one Site Group
• Sites hold contracted duties
• There is no limit to the number of contracted duties on one Site
• Different rates can be assigned to duties on the same Site
• Management of security roles, to group responsibilities should be made at a Site level

Employees

• Employees are allocated a single Branch, but can be scheduled onto any Site, even if the Site belongs to another Branch
• Pay Levels give the ability to pay and bill different rates for different Employee types covering shifts for example Supervisor, Cleaner, Security Officer
