Introduction

Timegate Web is a workforce management system that can be accessed from various web browsers across many operating systems. A list of supported operating systems and internet browsers are listed below:

Operating System Browser Type & Version

The following Operating Systems and Browsers work with the FM Cloud and Timegate Web web client:

Note: Ensure your browser is showing the correct date format. You may need manually change the way that your browser handles dates as many browsers by default install in the US format, which affects how dates are shown within. Details are provided below explaining how to change the data format in Chrome and Internet Explorer.

Chrome Date Format Change

  • Open Chrome

  • Open the Chrome Menu (select the three dots to the right of the address bar)

  • Select Settings

  • Select Advanced at the bottom of the page

  • Select the Languages expanding text box to open the section

  • Select Add Languages

  • Search for English

  • Select English (United Kingdom)

  • Select Add

  • Select the three dots on English (United Kingdom)

  • Select Move to the Top

  • Select Display Google Chrome in this language

  • Select the three dots on English (United States)

  • Select Remove

  • Close all Chrome Windows

  • Restart Chrome

IE Date Format Change

  • Select Tools (cog on menu bar)

  • Select Internet Options

  • From the General tab select Set Language Preferences

  • Select Add a preferred language

  • Select the language you would like to add (e.g. English (United Kingdom))

  • Select Next

  • Select Install

  • Select OK

  • To move the priority of the recently added language, you will need to move it to the top of the list in the displayed Languages:

  • From within the Language window, select English (United Kingdom) 

  • Select the up arrow repeatedly until the language is displayed at the top of the list

  • Open Internet Explorer

Check that the Date & time settings are correct:

  • Select Date & time from the settings window. Ensure that they are in the English (United Kingdom) format

  • Close Settings

  • Close Internet Explorer

  • Open Internet Explorer
