Exceptions within a form

Within the Service Delivery module, the facility to build logic based exceptions into form question responses has been added. Whilst providing your services, your company will benefit from being able to gather further details and evidence when problems occur when members of your team complete a form. This information can be fed back to your customers keeping them informed of actions undertaken along with reasons why.

Further evidence is gathered based upon the answer given to an initial question on a form. For each initial answer, a different exception can be triggered as appropriate. The feature supports responses to List, Selection List, Rating and Yes/No type questions.

When a response is triggered, the user is prompted to enter their reason for the exception as follows "Why did you answer [response] to [question]?" where [response] is their answer to the initial question that was asked [question]. The user selects their answer to the exception question from either a list (where they need to provide a single answer) or a selection list (where they can select multiple answers). Exception responses are mandatory. If the user doesn't answer the exception, they are prompted to do so, and will only be able to proceed when they give an answer.
