Enhanced Site Arrival and Departure Processing

This enhancement to Timegate Web gives you greater control and flexibility with regard to the scheduling of site arrival and departure checks. Before a duty has started, these pre-shift confirmation checks could be used to ensure an individual is en-route to their duty, or has arrived for a pre-duty meeting for example. At the end of a duty they can be used to check when an employee leaves the site, having already booked off.

The new settings that can be found under Set Up | Sites | Call Settings (as shown above) enable you to control:

  • Whether a user will need to make an additional en-route ON Call before their actual BOOK ON Call to say that they have arrived on site/are on their way

  • Whether a user will need to make an additional leaving site OFF Call after their actual BOOK OFF Call to state they are in the process of leaving the site

  • Whether or not the source of SITE ON Calls (i.e. the location of the device being used to make the SITE ON) are validated against:

    • A defined GPS Location (based on Latitude, Longitude and the Geofence settings) - if configured

    • The users' CallerID - if configured

  • The window for the SITE ON Call

  • The window for the SITE OFF Call

  • Whether or not the source of SITE OFF Calls (i.e. the location of the device being used to make the SITE OFF) are validated against

    • A defined GPS Location (based on Latitude, Longitude and the Geofence settings) - if configured

    • The users' CallerID - if configured
