Pay Scheme Uplift (New Minimum Wage)

The following 07 min 59 sec clip shows the enhancements made through the pay rates area that enables users to bulk update employee minimum wages (minimum pay scheme rule):

Note: That in order to apply a minimum pay scheme ensure that the Uplift Min. Wage? for your employees is selected, on your employees pay details record (Set Up | Employees | Pay Details)

Note: These changes will not affect the desktop client. It is recommended that customers do not use the Desktop Client for this feature in the future, only the web client.

Timegate Web handles New Minimum Wage uplifts at the traditional Branch level. This is done from one central location, rather than at an individual branch level. This increased flexibility will enable many customers to more easily implement uplifts within Timegate Web This results in significant time savings.

The solution comprises two linked areas in Timegate Web (accessible via Admin | Finance and is controlled by their own individual security features to restrict access)

  • Pay Scheme Rule (this replaces the pre-version 20.4 Minimum Wage Scheme page) - where minimum wage schemes can be created for use at a Branch level

  • Pay Rate Uplift (a new page) - where Pay Scheme Rules are applied and audited
