Monthly Overtime Calculations

The following 3 min 58 sec clip shows how employee duty overtime calculations can now be made monthly rather than on a four weekly basis to enhance accuracy.

The Employee Duty Overtime calculations have been updated to allow for overtime calculations to be made on a Monthly rather than 4 weekly basis (selected in Period Overtime/Limit 1/2 in the Set Up | Employees | Pay Details tab). This will increase the accuracy of overtime payments i.e. they will be based around a calendar month rather than four weeks. The option is available when the Payroll Run Information, Pay Period is set to 1 Month. If the Pay Period is set to any value other than 1 Month, the old Period Overtime/Limit 1/2 values are shown.
