Site Billing Enhancements
The following 8 min 41 sec clip shows the new site billing enhancements that have been built into Timegate Web 20.3 to improve the flexibility in the way that Timegate Web can be set up for your business:
Several changes have been made to the way that Timegate Web handles basic billing:
- You can now maintain basic bill rates on Site cards against effective dates (Set Up | Site | General tab)
- A new multi-bill rate window is now available against each effective date (Set Up | Site | General tab. From here, a list of bill rates can be maintained along with an optional employee, day of week and pay level. The user can also specify a fixed bill rate or select a value or percentage uplift from the pay rate.
- A new system-level rate card maintenance page has been introduced (Admin | Finance | Rate Card Rule). These rate cards, once configured can be assigned to zero, one or more sites. The same functionality will be available when maintaining a rate card. The only difference is that instead of being able to select an employee at the multi-rate level, you can select a seniority number instead.
- Two new billing method types have been added to hour type maintenance ( Use Post Pay then Site Rate and Use Site Rate then Post Pay). When either of these are selected, rate generation will first look at the post pay and if a zero rate is found, it will then look at the site rate (either adhoc site billing rates or the rate card) and vice versa.
