This topic includes the October 10, 2023 release items for the legacy version of Timegate Web and the Employee Portal.
Timegate Web Web
Fixes
-
We had an issue where users were able to view tasks that belonged to employees in different branches. To fix this and give users the ability to control which tasks display, we added a Security override for search for work check box to the Scheduling System Settings. When this setting is selected, users can view tasks from employees in different branches, (as long as the duties are at sites that belong to the employee's branch). This setting is cleared by default. [#197285]
-
We had an issue where when users were adding holiday diary events, the system was slow and returning errors. This has been fixed. [#197386]
-
We had an issue where the holiday remaining value calculations were not taking into account situations for when an employee was rehired throughout the year. To fix this we added the following validations to the code: [#197857]
-
If an employee has left and their join date falls within the holiday year.
-
If an employee joined before the start of the holiday year.
-
If an employee left after the end of the holiday year.
-
-
We were returning an unexpected error on the 06-04-01 Clockin Summary by Site and the 06-05-01 Clockin Summary by Employee reports when the Employee Pay Code filter was used. We fixed this by changing the filter from a drop down list to an editable text box and adding the Employee Pay Code field on the Select Employee search view. Users can now either enter a pay code in the filter directly or search for it using the Employee filter. [#197890]
-
We had an issue where the Incident Wizard icon was incorrectly displaying on the Call Monitor toolbar even though the function role the user was logged in with did not have access to this feature. We fixed this by removing the icon if the role is not provisioned access. [#197176]
-
We had an issue where an unexpected warning message was displaying when the user clicked on the Branch Messages tab. This has been fixed. [#197170]
-
We had an issue where the Timegate Web employee Basic Holiday Entitlement values were not matching the values in the Employee Portal. We increased the decimal precision of the calculation methods in the employee portal to fix this issue. [#197164, 196119]
-
We fixed an issue where the system was incorrectly returning a message that the record was being updated when users were creating a new employee. [#196140]
-
We had an issue where when a user clicks the Back button in a Chrome browser, Timegate Web became unresponsive. We added a forced reload process to occur after a user uses the Back button to resolve this issue. [#196112]
-
We had an issue where scheduled phase duties were missing the rate generation data when an employee was changed or removed in the operational phase of a shift. This was happening on duties where the scheduled employee is different that the operational employee or where the operational employee ID was null. This has been fixed. [#195982]
-
We had an issue where the sort and filter options were not displaying and some of the column headers were having display issues on the 01-06-06 Premiums report. To fix this we added the appropriate sort and filter options to the report and fixed the header display issues. [#195926]
-
We had an issue where when users edited an employee's county (on the General tab of the Employee page) and clicked the Next Pin button in the same session, the county value was being erased. This has been fixed. [#195827]
-
We had an issue where the 09-05-08 Employee Holiday Balances report was not displaying terminated employees. We fixed this issue and added filters to choose which employees the user wants included in the report. The following filters were added: [#195189]
-
Employee Joined Date
-
Employee Left Date
-
Has Employee Left?
-
- We had an issue where the Call Monitor window refreshed at a maximum of every 120 seconds, however the system only allowed you to edit the Refresh Rate value to less than 120 seconds. We added input validation to prevent the user from saving the value to less than 120 seconds and added a validation message informing you that the value must be greater than 120 seconds. [#193824]
-
We had an issue that was causing meal break durations to overlap with sub duties which affected rate generation. This has been fixed. [#176146]

We fixed an issue that was causing duplicate rate generation records when the duty was carried over to the next day. [#176757]

-
We fixed an issue where users were receiving error messages when they made bill/pay edits to duties. [#191576]
-
We had an issue where users who were provisioned with security view only access on the Employee Premiums tab were able to edit items. This has been fixed. [#197284]

We had an issue where employees were unable to request holiday time using the Employee Portal because an error message was inaccurately returned stating the employee exceeded their number of holiday hours. To fix this, we made calculation changes the requested and remaining values. [#193721, 193822, 198265]
