Multi-Rates Day Selector now includes Public Holiday Option

Last year, TEAM Software by WorkWave introduced an update that enabled employees to be paid at different rates on different days of the week. In Version 20.2 of Timegate Web, this has been enhanced further to allow for a day of week, weekday, weekend or a Public Holiday to be selected.

The setting is found as follows:

  • Open an employee’s record (Set Up | Employee).
  • From within the Employee record, open the Pay Details tab.
  • In the Pay Details section, select RATES to display the Employee Rates.
  • Identify the rate you wish to edit.
  • Select the settings (cog) icon to view the Multi Rates. The new setting Public Holiday is found under the Day of Week.

Note: When a duty is worked on a public holiday and the site and pay level also match, then the rate found on the Public Holiday record will be used in preference to other matching rows. If the duty is worked on a non-public holiday, then the logic will fall back to other rows and attempt to match against those.
