Site Document Handling
The following video shows you how to upload and manage documents:
Site document handling allows you to upload a document to multiple sites along with the ability to upload multiple documents simultaneously. Both of these features will save significant amounts of time for users. Additionally, the document navigation features make it easy to find documents.
The Site Document Page (Set Up | Site | Document Library) is set up as a folder structure.
Two pages support this solution:
- Firstly, the Admin | General | Site Settings | Shared Documents page, that allows users to manage documents that are to be shared across multiple sites. These shared documents can be uploaded, categorised and assigned to different sites.
- Secondly, under the Admin | General | Site Settings | Shared Document Category, users are able to organize site documents through categories. These categories will be used within the aforementioned site Document Library and Shared Document pages.
